Law 25 and privacy protection

Every day, a chatbot or conversational agent receives personal information: names, contact details, questions about a file, a job or a situation. Under Quebec's Law 25, your organization remains responsible for that information. Our agents give you the tools to keep this data under your control, without adding to your workload.

A retention period you configure

Keeping conversations indefinitely means piling up personal information you no longer need. With our agents, you set the retention window:

• You choose the duration — You decide how long conversation history is kept, based on your needs and your internal policies.
• Erasure is automatic — After that period, the history is erased, with no action on your part.
• Less data, less risk — What is no longer kept cannot be exposed in a confidentiality incident.

Erasing everything related to a person

When someone asks you to delete their information, you need to be able to act on it simply. You can erase all content related to a specific person: all of their conversations with the agent, whatever the channel used. Other conversations are not affected.

Anonymized PDF reports

Our PDF reports summarize conversations: most requested topics, unanswered questions, trends. They are anonymized: they tell you about the needs of your customers, members or employees without identifying anyone. You can share them internally without exposing personal information.

Data hosted in Canada

Our solutions are hosted in Canada, and the agent only accesses the information strictly necessary for its role. You decide what content it uses, what data it can look up and what actions it is allowed to take.

These features help you meet your obligations. Compliance with Law 25 nevertheless remains the responsibility of your organization and of its person in charge of the protection of personal information, who sets your retention rules in particular.
